The past week temperatures ranged from 74 to 85 degrees. I started out with a jacket but before the day was over it wasn’t needed. This week they predicted more of the same with temperatures remaining in the low 80’s.

It’s a great week to be a Warrior. Congratulations JFL Warriors on their Championship win Saturday against Quincy and the Calhoun Warriors defeated Greenfield Northwestern Friday night 14-6 bringing their record to 6-0. Let the shenanigans begin Monday kicks off homecoming week. Always a fun time.

Another hot week here in Calhoun, in mid to upper 80’s every day. Farmers are hard at it harvesting the corn and soybeans, long hours seven days a week. Predictions are for possible showers mid week and then quite a drop in temperature.
