The cold weather is still with us. There were many closures last week. This week’s weather forecast predicts extremely cold weather and chances of rain and snow. Old man winter is still here.

As I’m writing this winter is once again showing itself and unfortunately our Kampsville Ferry has just shut down.

Congratulations to Colin Tepen who received the sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist Feb. 1 at the Cathedral in Springfield. He is the son of Jon and Melanie Tepen. The Grandparents are Jim and Theresa Johnes, and Bill Tepen.
