It’s pretty quiet in our little village. We are still searching for our Queen so get those tickets.
The Center for American Archaeology Gym is full of talent as the Calhoun Entertainment Company prepares for their Spring musical “Cinderella” there will be four nights of performances March 27-30.
Members of the Calhoun Warrior football team helped the students at Calhoun Elementary prepare for Super Bowl week by reading to them about football. The students also incorporated the Super Bowl in their learning and enjoyed Super Bowl snacks.
Happy Birthday Kurt Roth on Feb. 7. His good friend Cheryl Lammy brought him presents and fun. Mike and Cheryl visit Kurt a lot of course. I’m sure his sister Kathy also made sure his day was special.
My grandson Dexter also has a February 7 birthday and he turned 9. We celebrated with a party Sunday at Bounce Tag in Springfield.
Congratulations Channing Johnson son of Ed and Amanda Johnson on receiving the IESA Sportsmanship Award at the 7th Grade Sectional Game.
