A great time was had by all that attended St. Anslem’s game night Saturday evening. In addition to fun, the food was awesome and the desserts even better. Thank you to everyone that came out to help show your support.
The Kampsville Summer Celebration Committee is busy working on the plans for our Celebration July 18th. We will kick off our celebration at 5 PM with the parade. We will then follow with lots of fun. Anyone wanting to be a vendor please contact the village Hall 618-653-4421.
In addition to the pageants, a favorite thing of all the kids are the games we play on stage. Cookie Stacking, Cookie Eating Watermelon Eating and Hula Hoop. These are fun for all ages and there’s nothing more fun than when they get a trophy for winning anyone wishing to donate money towards the Trophies please contact me. Thank you in advance to all the individuals and businesses who continue to help us. Keep us going.

The Gress, Robeen, McGuire reunion will be at the Lutheran Church in Hardin on Sunday June 14 with a meal at noon.

Don’t forget, we have a beautiful quilt being raffled donated by Pat Gotway. It’s on display at the Bank of Kampsville and tickets can be purchased there.
Calhoun Entertainment Company Theater Camp begins June 15. You can register on their Facebook page.
If you know me at all, you know, I’m a very positive person so I always try to put a positive spin on anything. With that being said there is so much negativity right now about the construction going on at the bridge. Please keep in mind, the guys working there they’re just doing their job so there is no reason to yell at them.
Also giving everyone a heads up the Kampsville Ferry takes on fuel every Thursday sometime between 9and 11. This takes approximately 20 to 40 minutes. This may be a small inconvenience, but I think it’s a little patent we can all get through it.
Our community lost two great ladies this past week, Jeane Hagen and Pat Meseke sympathy to both families.
