Congratulations to Jack Goode on being named the Alton Telegraph Small School Athlete of the Year and to Calhoun Warrior Head Football Coach Aaron Elmore on being named Small School Coach of the Year. Both are very deserving. My job with the paper has allowed me to be on the sidelines with these guys for the past years and they are both wonderful.
Harlow Hayn was named Player of the Game this past week at United Hoops Nationals. Harlow was elite on offense and defense.
