By BETH ZUMWALT A Rockport man was found under the Champ Clark Bridge over the Mississippi River, Monday, Feb. 16 at approximately 12:57 p.m. by an Illinois State Trooper. He was pronounced dead by the Pike County Coroner’s office.

By Carmen Ensinger Nicholas K. Bridgewater, 42, has been sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections following his conviction for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Felony.

Feb. 2- Feb. 8 William E. Potter, 35, Louisiana, Mo., was arrested Feb. 5 on charges of equipment requirement violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. He was released Feb. 6.
