Felonies Billy J. McCane, dob 7-02-1987, was found guilty on a charge of aggravated fleeing police/21 mph over limit, five years in the Department of Corrections, six months mandatory supervised release (MSR); charges of driving on a revoked license, speeding 35+ mph over limit and no valid registration 1st and 2nd were dismissed.

By Carmen Ensinger A Greene County man has been sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to a charge of Aggravated Battery, a Class 3 Felony.

By Carmen Ensinger The man charged with shooting two dogs, killing one and severely injuring the other, pled guilty to the charge and received probation in Greene County Circuit Court.

CIVIL CASES FILED Morgan L. Johnson vs. Lisa D. Guthrie, Autumn L. Guthrie, residential-eviction poss only, 10-20-25. Capital One, N.A. vs. Tiffany M. Brooks, cont-bus disp $10-15k, 10-22-25. Darren L. Mowen, Keith Mowen vs. Larry Ryan Smith, contr-dbt col $15-50K, 10-24-25.

The following criminal cases were resolved in Scott County Circuit Court during October, 2025. Ricky Long, pleaded guilty to speeding and ordered to pay fines and costs of $382. Andrew Armstrong, pleaded guilty to aggravated battery and was ordered to pay fines and costs of, $1,649.

Brandy M Sanoni, 43, Pittsfield, was arrested Oct. 20 on charges of domestic battery. She was released Oct. 21.
