Our service times are 9:30 a.m and Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. We had morning worship with the kids in the church and nursery services were available. Our pastor is Bro. Mancel Day. Everyone is welcome to either or both services. We are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Sept. 5 we had 24 youth at Sunday school and 35 members who were attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Please remember others to include in your prayers such as:
Junia Day, Lois Hart, Judy Cannon, Bob Krempasky, Debbie Grable, Judy McCurley, Eric Murphy, Brenda Pollard, Art Rogers, Doug Norris, Shari Selleck, John and Donna Helenthal, Julie Bolanger, Brenn Killion, Joyce Wells Mann, and the families that have lost loved ones.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Debbie Grable on Sept. 11 and Birdie Sturgeon on Sept. 15. There are no anniversaries to report.
During morning worship George Rogers sang “Crying in the Chapel” and Rich Caskey sang “Take Your Shoes Off Moses.”
Don’t forget our upcoming Reunion, Friday Sept. 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Food will be provided. If you are a member or former member or a former attendee, you are invited to come and visit.
Don’t forget the upcoming revival at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Sept. 26, 27, 28 and 29th nightly at 7:00 p.m.
