News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship with kids church and nursery service available. Everyone is welcome to either or both services.
On Sunday, Jan. 2, we had 18 attending Sunday school and 29 for worship service.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Rich and Judy Caskey, Judy Cannon, Bob Krempasky, Debbie Grable, Bill Martin, Birdie Sturgeon, Bronya Sanders, Art Rogers, Shari Selleck, Doug Norris, Judy Bigley, Michael Ryan, Tara Dawdy, Karla Cannon, Delores Cannon, Brad Fundel, Dennis Cunningham, Danny Merritt, and Tim Welch. With all the different types of weather around, we also pray for those traveling.
There are no birthdays or anniversaries to report for this week.
Friday evening a group of about 30 people enjoyed a New Year’s Eve party in the fellowship hall. Lots of laughs, food, and games were enjoyed by all.
During morning worship Jodi Carriger read “New Year’s Eve Blessings.”
