Emma Rew of the Brussels Girl Scout Troop 405, wrapped up her Girl Scout Silver Award Project with a Library Appreciation Day at the South County Public Library on Monday, Sept. 12.
Emma presented the library with over 1,464 new and gently used children’s books that she collected for her Girl Scout Silver Award project and graciously donated by the community. Kids who attended the event enjoyed a craft, storytime, snack and took home a free book.
