The North Greene Junior High Warriors played host to St. Francis Holy Ghost on Dec. 28 and while they put up a valiant effort, both the seventh and eighth grade lost their games. The seventh grade lost 25-33 while the eighth grade lost by 12, 24-36.

The eyes say it all in this photo. North Greene’s Reese Scott had been sandwiched between two much larger St. Francis players and eventually had the ball stripped. I’m sure by the look he is giving here that he was hoping his eyes were lasers and the ball would simply disintegrate at this point.

The struggle is real. At least it was between Brock Malin and this Jersey player as Malin tries to rip the ball away from him, or vice versa.

Within arms reach. Deyton Bridges and this Jersey player vie for the rebound getting their arms entangled in the process.

Boen Berry gets tangled up with a Jersey player on a drive to the basket and ends up losing the ball before he gets to the basket.

Kendyn Ford-Shewmake saves the ball from going out of bounds.
