My mom, Betty Green, taught with Izzy in Momence and mom always admired her. I had Mr. Willard (more affectionately known as Captain Ed or Mr. Wizard) for both Biology 1and 2. Both were well respected and much loved beyond their classrooms. My sincere condolences go out to her friends and family. I know she will be missed.
