Beverly ‘Jean’ Hagen | 95 | Hamburg

Beverly “Jean” Etter Hagen, 95, of Hamburg, passed away June 2, 2026.  She was born July 25, 1930, in Gilead, Illinois to the late Fritz and Leta (Crader) Etter. Jean married LeRoy Hagen on November 29, 1947, at St. Mary Church in Brussels. He preceded her in death on May 19, 1996.
For more than 50 years, Jean dedicated herself to a career in real estate, a profession that perfectly matched her outgoing personality and love of people. Through her hard work and genuine care for others, she built a respected career and became the owner of Kingdom Real Estate. Jean always welcomed everyone in her home and made sure they never left hungry.
Jean was a devoted mother of three sons Alfred (Sharon) Hagen, Timothy Hagen, and Bret Hagen.  She was a loving grandmother to Andrea Jean (Brett) Eilerman, Travis (Janine) Hagen, Bret Timothy Hagen, and Ellyse (Brent) Brown. She adored her great grandchildren Bryce, Mason, Ruby, Jack, Barrett, Bennett, and Beckett as they adored her as much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy and two sons, Bret and Timothy.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Gress, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral home in Hardin from 8:30 a.m. to the time of service at 10 a.m. with Fr. Don Roberts officiating.
Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery in Hamburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Evercare of Calhoun activity fund or Indian Creek Cemetery fund.
