News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship with kids church and nursery service available. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Feb. 19, we had 21 attending Sunday school and 30 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Josh and Judy Cannon, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Bob and Stephanie Krempasky, Dan and Genise Hatcher, Madisyn Smith, Karl Schmidt, Rich Icide, Journee Vinyard, Danyel Staats, LaNise Kirk, Darren and Shelly Pohlman, John Kennedy, Jessica Andrews, Sue Bradford, Delores and Karla Cannon, Betty Bruce, M. B. Williams, Mike Keenan, Paul Lair, Chuck Roberts, Pattie Ann Anthony, Raymond Martin, Jonah Hart, Wanda Farris and the family of Tina Gregory.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Carter Sim Feb. 23 and to Blaze Farris Feb. 26. There are no anniversaries to report.
Friday, March 17 we will be having another game night, “Minute to Win It.” Corned beef and cabbage will be furnished. Bring a side dish and come enjoy yourself. All the fun starts at 6 p.m.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “Build a Cabin in Glory Land.”
