Landyn Wood doubled and homered to lead West Central to a 9-2 over Triopia in baseball April 13 at Concord.
The Cougars (10-3) scored two runs in the first inning and led 7-0 after three.
Woods, Carson Brown and Owen Barber each had two hits for West Central. Brown had two doubles while Barber and Mason Berry each tripled.
Dalton Hutton picked up the victory. He allowed two hits and one run in six innings. Cameron Sievers pitched the seventh inning.
Brylee Lawson had three hits, but Triopia beat West Central in softball 8-5.
Lawson was 3-for-3 with a double and drove in three runs. Bryleigh Fox also had a hit for West Central.
Rylee Burk struck out six batters in six innings and suffered the loss.
