Brylee Lawson had 15 kills and 11 points to lead West Central to a 17-25, 25-19, 25-16 win Oct. 16 at Beardstown.
Lawson also had six digs and two for the Cougars (13-17-2).
Reagan Brown had 25 assists, six points, including one ace, three digs and two kills. Kenley Coats had nine points, including two aces, nine digs and one kill.
Braylee Littig had seven points, including one ace, four kills and two digs. Maeleigh Alexander had seven kills, two blocks and one dig. Annabell Schafer had two points, six digs, five kills and two blocks.
McKenzie Jones had two points and five digs. Kaitlyn Frost had three digs and one kill. Kylie Clayton had one ace.
West Central (13-19-2) finished the regular season Oct. 19 with a 21-25, 25-18, 25-18 loss at Triopia.
Reagan Brown had 28 assists, four points, five digs, one kill and one block. Lawson had 21 kills, six points, six digs and three blocks.
Schafer had 15 kills, three points, including one ace, three digs and one block. Coats had 12 digs, seven points, including two aces, and one kill. Littig had 10 kills, two digs, one block and one assist.
Jones had nine digs and seven points, including one ace. Alexander had four blocks, two kills and two digs. Frost had three kills.
Brown County beat West Central 25-16, 25-17 on West Central’s Senior Night Oct. 17 at Bluffs.
The second game was tied 6-all before West Central scored four straight points. Lawson had three service aces, and Brown County committed a hitting error as the Cougars took a 10-6 lead.
Brown County took an 11-10 lead before the Cougars took a one point lead. Schafer had a block, and Brown had a service ace to give West Central a 12-11 lead.
Brown County scored 10 of the next 11 points to take a 21-13 and went on to win the game.
