Cameron Sievers drove in two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, and West Central beat Liberty 5-4 in baseball March 15 at Winchester.
Sievers drove in Caden Meyer and Tucker Arnold for the winning runs as the Cougars improved to 2-0.
Dalton Hutton allowed no hits over four innings, and West Central started the season with an 8-0 win March 12 at Carrollton.
Hutton struck out eight and walked three in his four innings. He also went 2-for-3 with a triple and scored three runs.
Anthony Hance and Sievers also pitched for West Central, who allowed just one hit in the game.
