Wayne Decker

James Stanberry
On April 11, Calhoun County Deputy Nic McCall conducted a traffic stop on Crawford Creek near Illinois Route 100 near Kampsville.
Subsequent to an investigation, the driver, Wayne L. Decker, 56, of Greenfield, was arrested for the following offenses:
• Possession of Methamphetamine, and
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Additionally, a passenger, James E. Stanberry, 44, of Greenfield, was arrested for the following offenses:
• Possession of Methamphetamine, and
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Decker and Stanberry were arrested without incident and transported to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).

Justice Self
As is now required under the provisions of the new House Bill 3653, known as the SAFE-T Act, both Decker and Stanberry were booked and released with a Notice to Appear at a later date at the Calhoun County Courthouse.
On April 3, the CCSO was notified of a Domestic Disturbance, in the 400 block of Porcupine Ln., Hamburg.
The CCSO responded to the scene and began an investigation.
The suspect was located the following morning, and subsequently, Justice A. Self, 26, of Hamburg, was arrested for the following offenses:
• Aggravated Battery;
• Domestic Battery;
• Unlawful Restraint;
• Driving While License Revoked.

Nicholas Desherlia
Self was arrested without incident and was transported to the Pike County Jail.
On Feb. 22, the CCSO was notified of a Domestic Disturbance, in the 500 block of French St., Hardin.
The CCSO responded to the scene and began an investigation. Law Enforcement Officials were advised by witnesses that the suspect had left the scene. The suspect was located shortly after by Deputies of the CCSO.
Subsequently, Nicholas A. Desherlia, 35, of Hardin, was arrested for the following offenses:
• Intimidation;
• Disorderly Conduct.
Desherlia was arrested without incident and was transported to the Pike County Jail.
Reminder that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
