The following police reports were filed between July 19 and July 25, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
James W. Carter, dob 9-17-1994, possession of meth less than five grams, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D).
David A. Depper, dob 2-05-1986, aggravated battery/public place, aggravated assault/public property.
Kyle Clinton Kniffen, dob 1-07-1996, criminal sexual abuse/consent.
The following individual was charged with a misdemeanor:
Samantha J. Hendy, dob 3-10-1974, resisting a peace officer, firefighter or correctional employee, obstructing a peace officer, firefighter or correctional employee.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Joshua T. Addison, dob 2-03-1978, driving under the influence of alcohol, transport/carry alcohol liquor/driver, improper traffic lane usage.
The following individuals were charged with domestic violence:
Crystal L. Hackethal, dob 6-02-1979, domestic battery/bodily harm, domestic battery/physical contact.
Patrick D. Hendy, dob 12-23-1984, two charges of domestic battery/bodily harm.
The following individual was charged with an ordinance violation:
Sylvia Wedding, dob n/a, dogs running at large.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Brittany M. Autery, dob 2-23-1985, driving on a suspended license.
Lauren A. Gibson, dob 1-15-1988, driving on a suspended license, operate motor vehicle/registration/suspended, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Chance Bailey, dob 9-10-2001, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Joshua W. Carney, dob 2-24-1988, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Thomas Richard Enz, dob 1-19-1967, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Dalton G. Glass, dob 3-13-2004, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Ronda R. Hammond, dob 11-02-1970, driving 1-10 mph above limit.
Brian A. Krock, dob 8-09-1982, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Casey C. McGee Jr., dob 7-25-1999, operate uninsured motor vehicle, operate motor vehicle/registration/suspended.
Brianna K. McKinney, dob 4-10-2001, operate uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
Dylan N. Schuette, dob 12-13-2002, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
