The following police reports were filed between August 30 and September 5, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
David T. DeSherlia, dob 2-22-1972, aggravated domestic battery.
Anthony K. Driver, dob 12-07-1990, residential burglary, theft control intent between $10K-$100K,aiding/abetting/possession/sell stolen vehicle.
Timothy A. Knight, dob 4-22-1966, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon/vehicle.
Billy J. McCane, dob 7-02-1987, aggravated fleeing police/21 mph over limit, driving on a revoked license, speeding 35+ mph over limit, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Kelly A. Bishop, dob n/a, retail theft/display merchandise less than $300.
Anthony K. Driver, dob 12-07-1990, violate order of protection.
Chase Scott Manns, dob 6-07-2002, two charges of dog running at large/2nd+.
Roseanne Toth, dob 8-29-1973, violate order of protection after being served notice.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Charles R. Chartrand, dob 9-05-1957, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to notify owner/operator of damage after a collision of an unattended vehicle, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Randy D. Huck Jr., dob 1-24-1985, driving under the influence of alcohol.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Gary A. Hodges, dob 8-24-1967, domestic battery/physical contact.
The following individual was charged with an ordinance violation:
Kent Hao Shen Lin, dob 1-12-1992, negligent driving.
The following individual was charged with a conservation violation:
Andrew W. Baze, dob 7-12-1989, approved personal flotation device.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Korey J. Berube, dob 7-14-1995, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Noel T. Buckner, dob 6-27-1971, driving on a revoked license, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Gaybrielle L. Gilbert, dob 5-30-1975, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Tyler J. Hutchins, dob 3-15-1993, leaving the scene, reckless driving, failure to reduce speed.
