Maddox Chapman scored two touchdowns to lead West Central to a 14-0 win over Calhoun in junior high school football Sept. 14 at Winchester.
Chapman capped off West Central’s first drive of the game with a 25-yard touchdown run. Eli Coker caught a 28-yard pass earlier in the possession.
Chapman scored on an 18-yard run in the second quarter. Jacob Williams kicked the conversion for the Lightweight team, who improved to 6-0.
Maysin Alexander scored, but the Calhoun beat the West Central Heavyweight team 33-6.
Alexander scored on a 14-yard run with 6:07 remaining in the second quarter. Blaine Vortman recovered a Calhoun fumble to set up the touchdown.
West Central’s junior high teams finish the regular Saturday at home against Triopia at 10 a.m.
