Timothy Allen Dougherty, 60, and his wife, Carol Kay (Hunter) Dougherty, 59, of Kane, died together side by side, at 9 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at their residence, as a result of a house fire, along with their dog Jack.

Combined visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. They were laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville. In honor of Tim’s service to his country with the United States Army, military rites were conducted.
