Hello from Pastor Mancel Day and Barrow Baptist Church. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship service. Everyone is welcome to either service. We are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Nov. 10, we had 24 attending Sunday school and 32 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Josh Cannon, Stephanie Krempasky, LaNise and Owen Kirk, Jessica Andrews, John Kennedy, Sheryl Herschberger, David, Mary & Eric Mumford, Mike Hazelwood, Jeri Meek, Sharon Ruyle, Eileen Hayes, Ralph Vincent, Stacie Baze, Eva McWhorter Graham, Amber Pressy, Knox Lawson, Ed Dawdy, Jodi Kania, Stella Schultz, Bob Ridings, Kip Proefrock, Bill & Monica Lawson, Mike Collins, Gene Miller, Grace Camerer, Callen Hoesman, Noah Breitenbach-Dirks, Megan Long Little, Karen Huff Hardwick, Leland Evans, Patti Gregory, Taylor, Ryan & Reese Lowery, Kay Daniels, Rich Icide, Larissa Crum, Karen Moore, Ernie Brown, Mary Ann Schumann,Vernon Yoder, Stacey Caskey, Christa Whorten, Billy Castleberry, Randy Trone, Chris Jouett, Kim Tyson, Brayden Parker, Duane Dawdy, Layla Ingram, Lance Steckel, Johnny Craig, Mindy Hall-Pollard, Audrea Speaker, Grant Cox, Leila Schulte, Debbie Proffer, Rex Aten, Sanna Kessinger and the families of Charlene Plowman and Brian Fry. There were also a couple unspoken prayer requests.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Clauda Seely Nov. 13, Julie Day Nov. 17 and Sawyer Farris Nov. 18. There are no anniversaries to report.
Don’t forget Operation Shoebox drop-off is at the Christian Church in White Hall beginning the week of Nov. 17.
During morning worship our veterans were acknowledged and several readings were shared. Kurt Hall sang “For God So Loved the World” and “In the Garden.” Rich Caskey sang “Kneel Down & Pray Up.”
The Lord really blessed us last week with our much needed rain. When you pray, don’t forget to thank him.
