The following police reports were filed between November 15 and November 21, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Grant R. Becker, dob 4-16-1984, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), possession of hypodermic/syringe/needles/1st.
Joel A. Carlton, dob 11-26-1983, possession cannabis between 100-500 grams/1st, driving under the influence of alcohol/intoxicating compound/drug, reckless driving, failure to reduce speed.
Christina A. Smith, dob 5-09-1983, aggravated domestic battery, cause circumstance/endangering child.
The following individual was charged with a misdemeanor:
Travis E. Ray, dob 12-05-1989, theft control intent less than $500.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Dylan T. Rudolph, dob 8-06-2001, driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
Lisa A. Wittman, dob 6-07-1969, driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
The following individual was charged with an ordinance violation:
Charles Herring, dob n/a, junk, trash, refuse, open burn.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Donisha Marie Epps, dob 12-13-1990, driving on a suspended license, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Joshua E. Kopp, dob 8-09-1988, driving on a revoked license, leaving the scene, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Shannon L. Leeds, dob 7-20-1979, speeding 26-34 mph above limit.
Julian Micheal McGrath, dob 7-20-2004, driving on a suspended license, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Michelle Lynn Thompson, dob 8-23-1982, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
William Raymond Fraley, dob 12-16-2004, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Chevi Eugene Howell, dob 4-18-2007, unsafe backing onto a roadway.
Daniel J. Jackson, dob 5-24-1980, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Benaiah James Lavey, dob 8-01-2007, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Kelli J. Schnelt, dob 12-31-1965, failure to yield/private road/drive.
Leah Marie Sprout, dob 10-07-1994, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Konor J. Yates, dob 5-27-1997, operate uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
