Bonna ‘Bonnie’ Ruth Brangenberg | 90 | Kampsville

Bonna “Bonnie” Ruth Brangenberg, 90, of Kampsville, went to the Lord on Jan. 21, 2025, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL, surrounded by her daughters.
Bonnie was born Aug. 10, 1934, in Kampsville, IL to Joseph and Myrtle Kremer. Bonnie spent her days working on the farm alongside her husband of 64 years. She found joy in her children, grandchildren and loved her cats. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and playing bingo.
She married Kenneth Brangenberg on May 29, 1954, in Kampsville. He went to the Lord on March 17, 2018.
Bonnie’s survivors include daughters: Ruth Windmiller of Holiday Shores, Jean (Clark) McKinnon of Kampsville and Kathy (and partner Mark) Pulliam of Louisiana, MO; two grandchildren, Bradley (Jennifer) Hatifield of Morganton, NC and Heather (Keven) Reed of Carrollton, IL; one great granddaughter, Reagan Hatifield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mark Brangenberg, two brothers and five sisters, and son-in-law, Jerry Windmiller.
A visitation was held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin. Funeral Mass will follow at St. Anselm’s Church in Kampsville at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Silver Creek Cemetery in Kampsville.
