Sue M. Harmison | 88 | Bourbonnais

Sue M. Harmison, age 88, of Bourbonnais, formerly of Bradley, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth.
She was born Jan. 12, 1937 in Pike County, New Salem, IL, the daughter of Melvin and Pauline (Morris) Moore.
Sue married Jim Harmison on April 20, 1957 in Griggsville, IL. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1990 after nearly 37 years of marriage. Sue was a 1955 graduate of Griggsville High School. She was a secretary at Bradley Elementary School for many years, retiring in 2002.
Sue was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports and was their biggest cheerleader. Sue enjoyed playing Mahjong. She was a member of K.I.E.O.P. Sue was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim (Bob) Dunbar of Bourbonnais and Kari Harmison of Tinley Park; two grandchildren, Zach (Sarah) Dunbar of Bourbonnais and Eric (Kiley) Dunbar of Bourbonnais; five great-grandchildren, Ayla Dunbar, Thea Dunbar, Archer Dunbar, Harrison Dunbar, and Sullivan “Sully” Dunbar; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Jim Harmison, Sue is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Morris Moore; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation were held from 9 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.
Interment followed at Mound Grove Gardens in Kankakee.
