Dalton Hutton allowed just one hit as West Central beat Brown County 11-1 in baseball Apr. 29 at Winchester.
Hutton gave a home run to lead off the fifth inning for Brown County’s only hit and only run. Hutton walked two hatters and struck out seven.
Cameron Sievers singled with one out in the first inning, and Carson Brown walked. Landyn Woods drove in Sievers with a single. Tucker Arnold walked to load the bases.
Hance singled to drive in Brown, and Ben Bangert drew a bases loaded walked to drive in Woods.
Hutton singled and scored on a double play in the second inning. Hance and Bangert both walked in the third inning and scored when Hutton singled.
Caden Meyer walked, and Tucker Arnold both doubled in the sixth inning Bangert doubled to drive in both runners, and Brown singled to drive in a run later in the inning.
Sievers went 3-for-4, scored two runs and had a stolen bases for the Cougars (15-2)
Bangert went 1-for-1 with a double, walked three times, scored two runs and drove in two runs.
Brown went 2-for-3, scored one run and drove in one run. Hutton went 2-for-4, scored one run and had a stolen base.
Woods went 1-for-4, scored one run and drove in one run. Hance went 1-of-r3, scored one run and drove in one.
Meyer, Arnold and Hayden Johns each scored one run.
