On March 25th 2025, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a Domestic Disturbance, which was alleged to have occurred on the night of January 10th 2025, at a residence in Hamburg, Calhoun County, Illinois.
Deputies with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation, collected video evidence and took statements from witnesses.
Subsequent to that investigation, Timothy J Roth, age 47, of Jerseyville, Illinois was arrested for the following offenses:
ν Intimidation,
ν Domestic Battery – Physical Contact,
ν Aggravated Assault – Deadly Weapon.
Roth was arrested without incident and was transported to the Greene County Jail.
On March 21st 2025, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a Disturbance and Property Damage, at a residence in the 200 block of High St. in Kampsville, Calhoun County, Illinois.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation, collected evidence and conducted several witness interviews.
Subsequent to that investigation, Lori A Ross, age 54, of Kampsville, Illinois was arrested for the following offenses:
ν Disorderly Conduct – False Report to 911 (Two Counts)
Ross was arrested without incident and transported to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office for processing; after which she was released with a Notice to Appear at the Calhoun County Courthouse.
On February 20th 2025, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a Disturbance, which was alleged to have occurred on the night of February 19th 2025, at a business establishment in Kampsville, Calhoun County, Illinois.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation, collected video evidence and took statements from witnesses.
The suspect was later apprehended, and subsequently, Charles P Southerland, age 46, of Kampsville, Illinois was arrested for the following offenses:
ν Aggravated Battery – Public Place,
ν Aggravated Battery – Victim Over 60 Years of Age,
ν Disorderly Conduct
Southerland was arrested without incident and was transported to the Greene County Jail.
