James R. “Jim” Ruyle, 85, of Pleasant Hill, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 31 at 4 p.m. at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 2 until 4 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Crescent Heights Cemetery Association or to the Pleasant Hill Wolves Football Program.
