Charles Arthur ‘Chuck’ Bradburn | 86 | Detroit

Charles Arthur “Chuck” Bradburn passed away on Nov. 22, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 86.
Born on Aug. 4, 1939, in Detroit, Illinois, Chuck grew up in Pittsfield, Illinois as the eldest child of Lawrence Milburn Bradburn and June Adaline Bradburn (née Ellis). He was predeceased by his parents; his sister and brother-in-law, Janet and George Hollenback; and brother-in-law, Stanley Lapinski.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Bradburn (née Lapinski); his son, Christopher (Jennifer) Bradburn; his daughter, Jennifer (Jon) Harman; and his cherished granddaughters, Cate and Allie Bradburn. He also leaves behind his brother, John (Ruth) Bradburn, sisters-in-law, Geralyn Lapinski and Karen (Roger Wallace) Lapinski, niece and nephews.
Throughout his life, Chuck cherished his family and was deeply committed to civil rights and community engagement. His dedication to these causes reflected a lifelong belief in justice, equality, and service to others.
