Ruby B. Quiller | 98 | Mozier

Ruby B. Quiller, 98, of Mozier, IL passed away Thursday morning Feb. 19, 2026 at Sunset Home in Quincy surrounded by her family.Ruby was born Oct. 12, 1927 in Hamburg, a daughter of William Riley and Lena Bell Day Howland. She married Merle D. Quiller on March 10, 1945 in Hamburg and Merle preceded her in death on May 6, 2006.
Ruby was a homemaker (domestic engineer) and a busy mother of four. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and spending time with her family.
Survivors include four children, Chuck (Cricket) Quiller of Kampsville, Robbie Tallent of Wardsville, MO, Sharon (Greg) Bailey of Five Points, AL and Debbie (Bard) Camerer of Quincy; nine grandchildren, Shelly Pointer, Scott Quiller, Bob Quiller, Rhonda Tallent, Riley Tallent, Kyle Bailey, Klint Bailey, Dack Camerer and Kayla Buchanan; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle; two sisters, Mary Lou Howland and Arie Jane Jones; two brothers, Marvin Howland and Charles Howland; and by an infant granddaughter.
Funeral services was held Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill. Burial will follow at the Summit Grove Cemetery near Kampsville. Visitation was held Sunday from 12 noon until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Summit Grove Cemetery or to the Hamburg Cemetery.
