Monday and Tuesdays weather being the exception. I hope everyone has taken advantage of these beautiful days to check out the amazing Kampsville Park by the Village hall. It looks like it’s not completely done. There may be a few little things that have to be done, but for the most part it’s completed. When my granddaughter Reagan and I walked the other evening there were kids enjoying the new basketball court, which is wonderful.
We had a great get together Sunday evening at St. John’s Lutheran Pastor Ankney and Ati are here visiting and we had a great get together, of course with amazing food and desserts and the best Ati made her homemade egg rolls. It was so nice just visiting and getting together and laughing. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday evening, so much fun. And of course, we are always glad when Pastor and Ati come home to visit.
Sons of the American Legion Meat Shoot every Sunday thru Lent at 1 pm at the Pavilion.
We have begun a new search for our Queen at the Legion.
St. John’s Annual Egg Hunt will be held Saturday April 4, at 1 pm. Egg hunt, door prizes, refreshments and fellowship we would love for you to join us. Anyone wanting to donate towards candy for the eggs, or prizes. Please get in touch with me.

Friday evening I attended the Brussels Alumni game, such a fun community evening with an absolutely packed gym. It was a great time.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of one of our neighbors from across the river Kathy Nolan, please keep her family in your prayers and continue prayers for Billie Jo Eickmeyer , Aiden Snodgrass, Mary Ann Gress, Kiera Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Sue Baze, Kurt Roth, Connor Gilman, Christie Baalman, Liz Schliecher, Kathryn Chapman, Luanne Baalman, Joyce Blumenberg, Sue Aderton, Diane Rose, Lisa Waters and our troops.
