While city-wide yard sales were going on throughout Carrollton, the Courthouse Square was abuzz with action with the Huntin’ for Treasures event with vendors set up throughout the courthouse lawn selling a variety of items from homemade candles to home grown beef and pork. Then there was Esther Short from Fieldon who came with her selection of soaps made from goat’s milk. There was also a wide variety of food available for purchase from chicken and noodles and pulled pork to pork rinds and kettle corn. (Carmen Ensinger/River County News)
