Greenfield Public Library had the pleasure of hosting the ever-popular Llama Llama to the library on Friday, June 5. Llama Llama joined the kids for several stories and then had a special time with the kids for hugs and pictures. Afterwards, the kids had craft time where they colored Llama Llama quilt squares.

For the craft after the story, the children were given the opportunity to make quilt squares for Llama Llama’s quilt. With the help of their parents, these three children work diligently on their squares. Left to right: Arlie Bettis, Molly Bettis, Crew Whalen, Baxie Whalen and Wells Whalen. Little Keith Hubbard was possibly Llama Llama’s biggest fan. He wanted to hug every chance he got and his siblings had to pull him away to give other kids a chance for a hug. (Carmen Ensinger/River County News)

Children were given the opportunity to color in the quilt squares or fill them in with different colored construction paper. Seven-year-old Marshall Goode decided he wanted to make his out of construction paper. (Carmen Ensinger/River County News)

While it doesn’t necessarily who here, there was a huge group of kids on hand for Llama Llama who participated on Story Hour. One of the books was on exercise and Llama Llama exercised right along with the kids as Miss Amy read the story. (Carmen Ensinger/River County News)
