Pikeland Unit 10 in Pittsfield held a special board meeting June 2 to discuss personal matters.
Two resignations and two hirings were announced following the meeting.
Spencer Boren resigned his position as Pittsfield High School social studies teacher effective at the end of the current year.
Clint Hayden, also tendered his resignation as custodian at Pikeland Community School effective June 1.
Hirings included: Chris Horton as a summer school teacher for 2026 for the district, effective June 1.
Jean Flint was hired as summer school route bus driver for the 2026 summer school term effective June 1.
The regular meeting of the district will be June 17.
