Adam Hosto

Adam Hosto, RN, with the Three South nursing unit at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for February.

Hosto’s leadership is appreciated by colleagues and patients alike. His nominator described a situation with a patient in critical condition. Hosto stepped up to help transport the patient to a CT scan and monitored the patient to ensure coordination of care could take place to move the patient to the ICU quickly due to a change in status.

“I’m truly grateful Adam was working and stepped in when the patient’s situation became urgent,” wrote his nominator. “He regularly demonstrates Memorial’s values, and his care of this patient in critical condition reflects those values.”

Hosto has worked for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 2023.
