Aria White, daughter of Aaron and Adrianne White of Pittsfield, was named Miss Photogenic at the Miss Illinois pageant this past weekend in Marion.
Aria White accompanied Julia Frey, also of Pittsfield, to the Miss Illinois Pageant s her princess. In addition to having a Princess Picnic and a Princess Lunch with the Miss Illinois contestants, the little girls enjoyed being mentored by the older girls.
The Miss Illinois Princess Camp is for girls 5-12 to be partnered with a Miss Illinois local titleholder as a mentor.
The goal of the program is to promote mentorship to the youth by utilizing the women of the Miss Illinois Scholarship Organization as role models.
Participants learn abut the values of the Miss America Organization including a lesson on the Four Points of the Crown.
