Several families around Pleasant Hill need prayers
Can you quite believe this is the last week of July, really where has 2022 gone! Before you know it the school days will be startin!
It has been a crazy, scary week around our house, Brian, my husband has been dealing with pancreatitis along with his other issues. He is currently in Barnes Hospital ICU but he does continue to improve. He is going to celebrate his 50th birthday Sunday, July 24 and we are sure hoping he can make it home for it!! Lord willing! We were sure hoping to give him a little party but that is just not in the plans for now so we are wanting to give him card shower for his birthday instead. You can mail to our address if you wish at 30608 140th Avenue, Pleasant Hill, 62366. We are so thankful and appreciative for all the prayers, calls, texts, hugs and just want you to know we sure felt each and every one of them! Just remember the smallest gesture is So Big in our book of life and often it is free! There is no place like Home!! Thankful to call Pleasant Hill and Pike Co Home!! Also a huge thank you also to our wonderful volunteer P-Hill and Nebo EMS, the Paramedics and Air Evac team! God bless you all!!
We have a sweet little lady, Mildred White, that will be celebrating her 100th birthday Sunday, July 31st. What an amazing life she has lived and seen so much in her days! Her family is hosting an open house Birthday party at the American Legion in pleasant Hill on her birthday from 1pm-3pm. Also they would like to shower her with cards if you wish, her address is 610 Lowry St, Room 111, Pittsfield, Il 62363.
Clark Moyers, who suffered terrible accident recently is receiving therapy in Hannibal Regional. His family has started a Gofundme page under the Moyers family, as he will be out of work for several months, if you can help this family out it would be greatly appreciated. May you continue to progress Clark and prayers for you and your family. You are also welcome to send him a card at his address: 35955 150th Avenue, Pleasant Hill, 62366
Doug Pruett fell off high ladder cutting some limbs and has back fracture. He was flown to Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Sunday. Please keep this great guy and family in your prayers too!
I know this is a lot of illness to report but just remember there are so many dealing with daily struggles in life. Just enjoy each day as things can change in the blink, can’t say this enough! Reach out to someone even if you think you don’t have time. It takes minutes to make a lasting and memorable act of kindness as to give someone just you!

“Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain, teardrops and laughter, pleasure and pain. Today accept disappointments as well as the joys…even a beautiful rose has thorns.” Helen Steiner Rice
