Three Pike County veterans received Quilts of Valor at Pittsfield’s All Wars Museum on Saturday. The three veterans (front row, l-r) are James Lemons, Mike Lemons, and William Hoaglin. The three are accompanied by (back row, l-r) Sally Lemons, Bridget Lemons, and Mycah Hoaglin. The Quilts of Valor ceremony was conducted by Martha Morris of the Tri-Couny Quiltors and Quilts of Valor. The Mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.
