Yuliana Sanchez-Sandoval, a patient care and scrub tech for Family Maternity Suites at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for June.
Sanchez-Sandoval works in Obstetrics and assists with surgeries, handles documentation during neonatal resuscitations and helps to ensure the safety of others by assisting during labor and deliveries in the operating room.
She also serves as a Spanish language interpreter for patients.
“Yuliana smiles, is always willing to help and is motivated to learn more and help others,” wrote her nominator.
Sanchez-Sandoval has worked for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 2015.
