The October 4-H meeting was held Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Nimrod Funk building in Winchester with 44 members, 25 guests, and 3 leaders present. Leaders from the extension office passed out 4-H sign up info and books. The meeting was called to order. The group planned removal the 4-H window display on October 13th from the Illinois Rural Electric building where project were on display for national 4-H week.
Plans for hosting another Honor Flight fundraiser was voted on and approved. Date of that event is to be determined. Sign up was taken for Saturday crafts at the Scott County Nursing Center. Thank you notes were signed by present members for Illinois Rural Electric and and previous guest speaker, Joyce Killday.
4-H talks were given by six members. A fun food activity took place learning about Parly Pro. The next 4-H meeting will be held on Monday, November 13th, 2023 at the Nimrod Funk building in Winchester.
