Long before they had Rural Health Clinics we had Dr. Baalman. It did not matter what day it was, what time of the day it was. He was always available, even if it meant you were sitting on his kitchen counter, and he was taking care of you. I personally have a few stories. To be honest, the one that had the most impact on my life was the fact that he came to my parents house when she was bedridden and checked on her. A doctor who still made house calls even in 1994. Our entire community was truly blessed. Please keep the family of Dr. Baalman in your prayers. Dr. Baalman passed away Saturday morning, surrounded by his family. I would say he was a true Calhoun legend. I’m sure everyone has a pretty good doctor Baalman story.
Please add Dave Dexheimer to your prayers and continue prayers for Sue Aderton, Bev Mosbarger, Kathryn Chapman, Kurt Roth, Jerry Crader, Diane Rose, Cassie Blackwell, Margie Smith, Raymond Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Kiera Sievers, Connor Gilman, Joyce Blumenberg, Linda Herkert, Billie Jo Eickmeyer, JoeAnne Feyerabend, Megan Jenkins and Stella Shultz.
