I hope everyone is staying cool during this extreme heat. Remember to have patience when out and about especially with restaurant staff. No matter the air conditioning, restaurant kitchens are very hot. Shout out also to farmers and construction workers and our guys on the ferry. I have to be honest this is actually my favorite weather but even I was forced to turn my AC on this past week.

Please keep Melissa Lorsbach , Dub, Lauren and their families in your thoughts and prayers on the passing of Butch. Butch was a great guy with a great laugh. He was the treasurer for many organizations and bookkeeper to many here in the county. He had such a great sense of humor and loved watching his grandsons play Warrior Football. He will be missed by many in our community. I hope he’s got a good bartender up there making him a delicious Bloody Mary, it was his favorite.
Please add Christian Rojas to your prayers and continue prayers for Brenda Smith, Raymond Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Kurt Roth, Kiera Sievers, Joyce Blumenberg, Diane Rose, Sue Aderton, Margie Smith, Kathryn Chapman, Billie Jo Eickmeyer, Linda Herkert, Luanne Baalman, Connor Gilman, Bev Mosbarger, and Stella Shultz.
