New Medicare Card Schemes are on the rise. The following are red flags to look for; 1. Unsolicited phone calls from someone stating that they are from the Medicare Office, 2. Anyone needing your personal information from you so that you will receive a new and updated Medicare card, 3. Someone saying that your card has expired or is expiring and a new one will be sent to you or you will be fined and 4. Someone stating that a new card is being issued to you and you must verify the Medicare number before it can be sent.
