In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:1-4.

Friday evening, July 15, I decided to go to the Cardinal Inn to enjoy Yesterday’s News. Went by myself, and started out at a table alone. Before the band started playing, I enjoyed visiting with a very nice lady behind me, Karen DeWitt, who is the wife of the lead guitarist Gabe DeWitt of Yesterday’s News . Then a couple who had driven from Rushville came in and asked if they could sit at my table. Sure, I had no problem with that. So before the evening was done, I felt like I had made new friends. Also might add that this was one of the very best concerts I had been to.
