Thanksgivng News: The Buggs’ family Thanksgiving (in Polly’s words): “We started at Nicky’s house with her husband Ricky and eight kids (two sets of twins)!! Our youngest Abby was there. Then we went to Hillview to see Cassie and Curt and their two kids. Also saw Connie and Brian there. Our annual motorcycle ride called The Last Ride of the Year was enjoyed. Brian and Connie’s two children Becca and Brady were there as well along with Becca’s husband, Bradley and their little red-headed daughter Vanna. Whew! I didn’t have to do any cooking!! Friday, we went to Lincoln to my daughter, Kari’s, house. Her husband, Logan, smoked a turkey. Others that were there were my granddaughters Hannah and Lexi, my daughter Hannah and her fiance` Don, and my youngest daughter Gwen. We are all so grateful that Don was there as we almost lost him in April. And Gwen played the piano beautifully while all my children sang. Logan played the upright bass and Hannah played her ukulele. As they all sang and played the instruments, it was so wonderful that I cried. Then it was time for Everett and I to head back to Pearl that night and get ready to open the Pearl Diner Saturday morning.”
