God listens, God leads, God provides…..Pray like you’ve never prayed before.
All kinds of things will be going on at the last festival for the season in Pike County, the Barry Apple Festival, this upcoming weekend. I received this item to put in the column, just to show you all a few things that will be offered: Linda King will be selling Pampered Chef during the Festival in the Welch Building next to Ruthie’s Flower Shop. Also purchase carmel apples, homemade candy, and baked goods at the Barry United Methodist Women’s booth in the shelter house.
St. Mary’s in Pittsfield began offering classes on the Catholic faith Monday, Sept. 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Hall. Anyone interested can still attend. The instructor is Father Mark Schulte. The class will cover the Creed, 10 commandments, the Sacraments, the Mass, and other Catholic teachings. Classes will be every Monday evening until Easter. If you have questions, please call the Parish office at 217-285-4321.
