Bob, Karla and the entire DeVries family suffered a recent fire in their wood working shop. The DeVries family is thankful to all who have reached out or helped in any way. “We hold to Jesus’ words, ‘In this world you will have trouble, but take courage, for I have overcome the world’ (John 16:33). God has promised to never leave us or forget us and his promises are true.”
The Christmas season is fast approaching. Anyone wanting to receive a Christmas Basket can pick up an application at the Pike County Government Building entrance at 121 East Washington or Pike County Senior Services at the Finley Place Apartments at 400 West Jefferson in Pittsfield. Applications can be returned to the drop box at either the Government Building or Senior Services or they can be returned by mail.
Donations for the Pike County Christmas Basket program can be mailed to Pike County Christmas Basket, 121 East Washington, Pittsfield, 62363. Donations are tax deductible. For questions regarding donations or the Christmas Basket program please call Carla Allen at 217-285-2726.
