Lots of Christmas activities this week
The Elementary Christmas Program is tomorrow, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. in the big gym.
The 99th Annual Community Christmas Tree tradition will continue this year with a few changes. It will be held at the Griggsville American Legion Saturday afternoon, Dec.18 from 1-4 p.m. We are sorry to announce there will not be a program but there will be plenty of free gifts for all children from birth through fourth grade. Santa and Frosty will also be on hand to take any last minute toy requests! Merry Christmas to all!
Congratulations to the following students who have been chosen to be inducted to the GP National Honor Society: Emily Dunham, Logan Evans, Sydnee Brown, Damon Tyler, Kale Liehr, and Cara Taylor!
What an honor for our Griggsville-Perry High School basketball team to receive The Sport A Winning Attitude Illinois High School Association Award! This certificate is presented in recognition of an exemplary act of sportsmanship at an IHSA Interscholastic contest! Great job, Tornadoes!
Steve and Jeannie Kessinger traveled to O’Fallon Sunday to enjoy the day at the home of Cory and Kyra Koltveit and children Ellie and Emmet. They all enjoyed the Christmas lights display at Grant’s Farm.
Dewayne and Nadine Kessinger and T.J. and Samantha Kessinger traveled to Gillispie Sunday to attend the school Christmas program. Tripp Kessinger was one of the students who participated in the program.
