Deepest sympathy is extended to the family and friends who felt like family of Helen Mays who passed away Jan. 28. She never met a stranger and enjoyed a good laugh. She had many family members in this area. She was a proud member of the Pittsfield High School class of 1973. For many years she loved working as the door greeter at the Pittsfield Walmart, and people enjoyed seeing her and talking to her. She was a charter member of the Grace Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The Yackley / Burrows family were finally able to get together this past Saturday, Jan. 29, for their Christmas, hosted by Amy Davis. Those family members in attendance were: Sue and Joe Yackley; Mark Burrows; Jim and Joyce Edwards; Micah and Sara Rudd, Elizabeth, Tristan, and Landon; Eli, Natalie, and Kathryn Burrows; Ethan and Emma Hanks; Wessley and Reese Davis; Amy Davis and Raylan Smith; Micah and Hannah Dice, Asher, and Leo; and Mike Burrows and Jina Simons.
Friday afternoon, Jan. 28, visitors at home of Wyvetta Davis were her cousins Mark and Becky Winner. The time was spent playing games which all enjoyed.
Nowadays there are jobs available it seems everywhere. I know for sure the Cardinal Inn would appreciate some good workers for various jobs and various shifts.
